What is Black Friday?
Black Friday the biggest shopping event after the Thanksgiving holiday, which usually takes place on a Thursday in the United Kingdom. Although, it’s not an official holiday but millions of companies give their employees the day off and they tend to use that day to get a jump-start on their holiday shopping. Retailers use the Black Friday as an great opportunity to offer rock-bottom prices on all products.
It would not be surprising to see Black Friday sale starting from Monday on that week. As a result, revenue wise Black Friday is NOT the biggest day for stores. Biggest sales day now include Thanksgiving day, Green Monday and Cyber Monday.
Why it is called Black Friday and When it is?
Many of us didn’t know this answer! Many stores and brands retailers noted some of their highest profits on this day. The term Black Friday relates to businesses recording their losses in red ink and profits in black in the books of accounts. Essentially, people find exclusive high discounts & deals of many top-rated stores on Electronics, Clothing, Home decor, Apparels, Footwears and much! This year we are expecting something big from last year, the biggest shopping day of the year is falling on 24th November, most major retailers will open their shopping deals extremely early often at midnight or earlier.
